wool baby blanket and bunny

These are hand knit with Dale of Norway “Baby Ull” yarn in blue. I intended to felt the bunny, but it turns out, Dale of Norway yarns are machine washable. Felting (or in this case, fulling) is the process of meshing the fibers of the wool together to make them into felt. I do this by running the item through the washer and dryer. This is a mistake if you do it accidentally and your adult sized wool sweater turns into a baby sweater. It is fulling when you do it on purpose and the item comes out as expected. That is part of the joy of working with textiles, though. Nothing is ever quite what you Expected – but things still work.
